A very nice, large gem quality graduated with knots round beads Necklace from Argentina. It has wonderful bright and light pink colors
The beads are between 7-15 mm in diameter.
The rhodochrosite has grown in thin bands and multiple partial rings, making this a highly aesthetic display and jewelry piece. The mine has been closed for years, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find this high grade of material.
Location: Andalgalá Department, Capillitas Province, in northwestern Argentina.
