This is a very nice genuine untreated violet blue tanzanite (Zoisite) pendant in sterling silver from Merelani.
Because of its growing popularity, Tanzanite was designated as a modern birthstone for the month of December in 2002. Tanzanite is also the gem for a 24th anniversary.
