Rare Large Pezzottaite Pink Beryl 925 Silver Pendant from Madagascar - 4.50 Carats

This is a very rare, partly terminated hot-pink Pezzottaite (pink Beryl, perhaps even more rare than Bixbites variety from only Madagascar) crystal silver pendant from Madagascar.
Pezzottaite is one of the most rare and beautiful gems on the market nowadays.
Location: Ambatovita, Mandrosonoro, Antsirabe, Madagascar
Size: 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.5 Centimeters
Weigh: 4.50 Carats Combined

Interesting Fact: Pezzottaite was named after Dr Federico Pezzotta for his work on the granitic pegmatites of that island. Pezzottaite was discovered at the Sakavalana Mine, Ambatovita, Madagascar in 2002.
Specimens of the new mineral were first thought to be red beryl (bixbite) or a cesium-rich variety of beryl. But unlike types of beryl, this new mineral contains lithium. It also crystallizes in the trigonal crystal system, unlike beryl, which has hexagonal crystals.
