Lot of 3 natural pastel bluish green color Amazonite necklaces from Brazil.
Amazonite is a green variety of the potassium feldspar called microcline.
Color of this amazonite is interrupted by streaks and inclusions of white quartz or feldspar.
It was named "Amazon stone" after Amazon River, from which certain green stones were formerly obtained, however it is doubtful whether Amazonite occurs in the Amazon area.
Pendants have natural, untreated color.
