April 28, 2023

Favorite time of the year, right after new years, a few family birthdays, and off to Arizona for another gathering of the world of stones and gems!! This was probably our favorite gem show yet, largely due to being the first one since covid that felt like it was back to normal. The big news this year was the return of all the Chinese dealers, who have been away since 2020, and it was wonderful to see our old friends. The show felt a little slower than in 2022, the consensus was that many small businesses that opened up during covid didn't come, so it was more of the older more familiar faces from around the world with older more established businesses. We bought a record amount of stones, bringing back close to 10,000 pounds of containers. Hope you enjoy the pictures :)
